Itinerary description
3 days 2 nights of cyclotourism to travel the Southern Route proposed in the book: Cycling in Amsterdam and the Netherlands by Eric Van der Horst (Ed. EOS Cycling).
IMPORTANT! We decided to do it in opposite way: from East to West to take advantage of the back wind!
It is a pleasant coastal route that runs through the different dams and beaches in the southern zone. It is mandatory to take a ferry (Blue Amigo) between Massluis and Rozenburg.
Although we could supply in any town we were equipped in total autonomy; sleeping the 1st night in our tent (through Campspace.com app -> free camping is forbidden in Netherlands <-) and the second night in a bed&breakfast (no open campings in the area for these dates).
Summer time seems to be REALLY crowded.
We practically rode 50 km exactly every day.
