Nice stage where we will go back through countless postal villages with humble and hospitable people with a permanent smile. The negative part will be the dust again. From the main street of the village, we have to break west through a small, steep descent, where the market is located, and we will follow it to a spectacular suspended bridge that crosses the Buri Gandaki to the old part of the village , which is located on a curious island in the middle of the river, then we go pushing the bikes to a street where we will turn to the left passing through the oldest part of Arhugat until returning to another bridge that crosses the same river Then a steep track will take us to a beautiful plain with a dispersed peasant village. We continue to go back to the main track (which in November 2009 was under construction) and then continue crossing villages and more rural villages and a steady and steep track will take us to Gorkha, the capital of the district and much stronger than all the peoples we had spent so far. Gorkha is considered the center of the Newar culture, which is the dominant in this central part of the country, including the capital, and is responsible for most of the architectural monuments that are both characteristic of brick and wood that we find in this area of Nepal. After a few days of hard sleep, washing with cold water and eating rice, Gorkha is an excellent place to recover the forces. We did it at Gurkha Inn, a small hotel with a very relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful garden overlooking the lush valley and a very varied and interesting menu

Gorkha

Gorkha is considered the center of the Newar culture, which is responsible for the brick and wood monuments that are so characteristic of this area of Nepal. Here, King Prithvi Narayan Shah, founder of the Shah dynasty, was born and in 1769 he unified different states that were the embryo of Nepal as we know it. Just a year ago, in 2008, this dynasty was completed, because the parliament abolished the monarchy and proclaimed a republic.

Etapa per regions rurals totalment apartades del turisme passant per molts pobles tradicionals de camperols. Els seus habitants són molt simpàtics i hospitalaris i sempre tenen un somriure a punt.
