Itinerary description
We started crossing the Lachung La (5077 m) after 8 km from Whisky Nalah.
The descent from Lachung La happens in an awesome environment characterized by desertic hills that ens at Kangla Jal, a great gorge with a rocky pinnacle and a natural rocky arc.
After a quite flat path we arrived at Pang, a militay check piont where it is possible to find food and drinks in some tends.
We continued ascending to Moray Plains, a long flat and uninhabited area dominated by big spaces with grass and yaks where we saw a Changthang nomads camp.
We arrived at Debring, just a camp with three tends, in the late evening where we got a very good dinner and we were accomodated in two small tends inside the bigger one.
