Yeh, it's funny that Google's image here is outdated...I assure you I did not ride on the water, I guess all that land was in-filled the past many years!
yes, It seems that the map shown at a small scale is indeed outdated. I've zoomed in to a bigger scale and then the land appears :-) I guess google gets the maps from many different sources
