Itinerary description
From highland road Kaldidalur over Uxahryggi. Down Lundareykjadalur on good gravel road with almost no traffic. After Lundareykjadalur to the rest is good paved road with low traffic. On the way is geothermal pool of Kleppjarnsreykir, Deildartunguhver, Reykholt and more interesting spots.
I would rate this track easy, but as this is a long day and in some traffic I give it moderate. in windy conditions this would be easily cut in two by camping in Kleppjarnsreykir. (they have indoor camping in a greenhouse for tropical experience !
