Itinerary description

Impressive bicycle trip, from Ireland to Spain, following the Eurovelo 1 crossing. From the city of Cork to Pamplona, in 16 days, 15 bike stages and a rest day. 1 stage in Ireland, 12 stages in France + 1 rest and 2 stages in Spain. From the port of Cork to Roscoff, in northern France, I went by ferry.
The route is 100% cyclable. 90% by lanes and tracks without traffic. Almost the entire route is on asphalt (I would say that 70%) and the sections of land are on very hard tracks in perfect conditions.
I used an old mountain bike "transformed" into a hybrid with mixed tires, perfect for this trip.
Fantastic stretch of the Eurovelo for France (Velodissée), which is almost the entire route. They have done a great job, perfectly signposted. Even so, the use of GPS is recommended, especially in cities. The web is very good where you can find all kinds of information and you can see where you are going at all times, it is very useful and complete: https://www.lavelodyssee.com/
The Spanish section decided to leave the Eurovelo route and do it through San Sebastian and through the Plazaola natural road.
Although I had very light basic camping equipment, I did not use it. I slept every night in hotels, booking on the go, except one day I rented a bungalow at a campsite because the hotels were full. During the route I found all kinds of services, there are long stretches of more than 50km that do not pass through any town with shops.
In total they were 1458km and only 7390m of accumulated slope, the French section is practically flat. I did not find slopes worth mentioning until stage 13 already arriving in Spain.

No descarto hacerlo al revés.. Gracias por la información
Hola Popon, no tendrás ningún problema en hacerla en sentido contrario, la Eurovelo1 en Francia está perfectamente señalizada en ambos sentidos, además viendo los datos de la ruta, parece que tiene menos desnivel acumulado si la haces desde el Sur.
Si quieres ir hasta Irlanda, creo que han reabierto el servicio de ferry desde Roscoff (Francia) a Rosselare (Irlanda). Así podrás seguir con la eurovelo1 por Irlanda. Cuando yo la hice habían quitado este ferry, por eso tuve que salir desde Cork.

en principio lo que hare primero para tener un poco mas de rodaje es camino de santiago y es posible que eurovelo haga almanos un tramo de francia hasta san nazarè mas o menos depende como valla el viaje
