Itinerary description

My overall review is this is the best trip I've ever done. We had great weather, which is unusual for the area, and this is the most scenic area I've ever seen. Adverse weather conditions (rain/wind is common) would have made this trip very difficult. I wouldn't even attempt this route in windy conditions.

Each peninsula is different and beautiful in its own way.

Day 1
From Killarney train station ride to Kenmare for lunch. Leave bags at hotel and ride loop around Beara and back to Kenmare to check into hotel. Great stop at Peg's Shop for water/food before taking on Healy Pass. Teddy O'Sullivan's for pint on the water before final push to Kenmare.

Day 2
Ride to Dingle. Great stop at Blackwater Tavern for coffee and sandwich. Lunch at Bunker's Bar in Kilorglin. Ride from Kilorglin to Dingle is a slog on a busy road, but make sure to stop at Inch Beach for a break.

Day 3
The slog from previous day is well worth it. Wake up early and leave bags in hotel for Shea Head Loop. Have a nice breakfast and grab your bags in Dingle before push up Conner Pass. GPS went off for a bit but lunch in Castlegregory is a must. We stayed in Killarney a night before back to Train station next day.

Tips:

Include bike on train reservation.
Pack as light as you can this trip involves many mountain passes.
This isn't a race. Have nice meals along the way, take breaks, and soak in the scenery!
