Viatge per Himalaia Indi. Estiu 2018: Kinnaur, Spiti, Zanskar i Ladakh
Nota: Travessa de Zanskar. Actualment BRO (Borders Road Organisation) està obrint una pista des de Zanskar Sumdo fins passat Char on connectarà amb la pista ja existitent. La pista no està i la travessa inclou trams per camí de mules i creuar un pont penjant l'etapa 17, etapa que he qualificat com a només per experts. La pista, segons vària gent local, s'espera estar acabada entre 2021 - 2023.
Llarga etapa. Deixant enrera Langhdong Sumdo aparentment la pista aniria per la llera del riu, massa crescut quan hi vaig ser. Toca anar per l'antic camí i arrosegar la bici entre roques i algun petit tram de tartera. Més endavant la vall s'omple i es pot pedalar tot i algun banc de sorra. Des d'aleshores hi ha pista que va variant en la qualitat de la pista, fins a prop de Purney on una esllavisada talla el camí i ens forçarà a empènyer la bici.
Ess pot tallar l'etapa a Kargiak, Table o Dangze on hi havia homestays anunciades.

Note on Zanskar crossing: Currently, BRO (Border Roads Organisation) is opening a non paved road that will connect Zanskar Sumdo with the road Padum - Char. The road is still not finished (Expected to be finished between 2021 - 2023 according to locals) and thus the crossing still includes some horse paths and crossing a Swinging bridge on Stage 17, stage that I've rated as "Experts only". When evaluating the Zanskar crossing evaluate on its whole.
Long stage. Leaving Langhdong Sumdo behind, the road apparently go through the river bed, too high at the moment I was there. Thus, I had to follow the horse path in a stony trail with some big rock blocks (no pictures), after that part, the valley gets wide and can be cycled although there are some sporadic sand banks. After Kargiak there is track almost till Purne, but a land slice few km before Purne blocks the road and force you to push the bike through it. The road varies in quality on different parts. There are homestays in Kargyak, Table and Dangze as well.
