Viatge per Himalaia Indi. Estiu 2018: Kinnaur, Spiti, Zanskar i Ladakh
Nota: Travessa de Zanskar. Actualment BRO (Borders Road Organisation) està obrint una pista des de Zanskar Sumdo fins passat Char on connectarà amb la pista ja existent. La pista no està acabada i la travessa inclou trams per camí de mules i creuar un pont penjant l'etapa 17, etapa que he qualificat com a només per experts. La pista, segons vària gent local, s'espera estar acabada entre 2021 - 2023.
La pista arriba fins dalt el coll (Shingo La) i està en bon estat en molts trams, altres un pel més precari. Hi ha un campament de la BRO cap a la cota 4500. Cap a la cota 4800m hi ha un riu amb aigua de desglaç amb una corrent molt forta que gairebé se m'endú la bicicleta. En el descens a Lankhong Sumdo la pista empitjora d'estat rapidament. La baixada es fa en una forta pendent i amb una pista molt pedregosa plena de pissarra.
A Lankhong sumdo hi havia Dabha on menjar i fins hi tot dormir en els bancs de pedra.

Note on Zanskar crossing: Currently, BRO (Border Roads Organisation) is opening a non paved road that will connect Zanskar Sumdo with the road Padum - Char. The road is still not finished (Expected to be finished between 2021 - 2023 according to locals) and thus the crossing still includes some horse paths and crossing a Swinging bridge on Stage 17, stage that I've rated as "Experts only". When evaluating the Zanskar crossing evaluate on its whole.
The road already reach Shingo La, the pass. Til the pass the toad is pretty acceptable and cyclable. There was a BRO camp around 4500m and a very strong river to cross, almost took away my bike, at around 4800m. On descending the pass towards Lankhong Sumdo the road get pretty bad. The downhill is very step and stony with lot of slate.
There is a Dabha in lankhong sumdo where to eat and even sleep on their stone benches.
