Itinerary description
Continuing on the theme of using bikes to increase our walking range, we rode a 2 day circuit and did a number of side-walks:
- Underground Creek
- Cross country from the Mt Norman fire trail to the Round House (will use this one as a link on a future walk)
- Mt Norman including the 1890 trig Cairn
- Roberts 1866 Cairn (a tough bush bash)
- Billy Goat Hill
- South bald Rock and surrounds
- South Bald Rock Cave Traverse, this one is a major undertaking, It is a 3D maze of galleries, gorges, tight squeezes, water pools and dead ends. Took around 90 minutes to traverse about 500 m.
