  4° giorno: 50 km di cui i primi 12 km. in leggere salita a partire dall’albergo stesso di Bad Tölz, ma fattibili, senza fatica. Ciclabili ovunque sia asfaltate che nei boschi, tutte percorribili facilmente con la bici e bagaglio a seguito, panorami semplici e rilassanti, fattorie e campagna curatissime. Punto d’interesse e d’attenzione di questa giornata, oltre al panorama già citato, è Tegernsee, località sull’omonimo lago pulitissimo che vanta una bella abbazia benedettina, trasformata in un castello dalla casa reale di Baviera. Oggi si gusta una buona birra nella Bräustüberl, la cantina birreria annessa al castello. Tornando sui nostri passi fino all’inizio del lago, e dirigendoci verso est, dopo circa 20 km. siamo arrivati alla nostra meta, la Gasthof Newirt nel minuscolo paese di Grobhartpenning, ma non vi abbiamo potuto cenare per mancanza di personale; pertanto la sera siamo dovuti risalire in sella e pedalare verso Holzkirchen (5 km.) dove ci ha sorpresi un bell’acquazzone mentre cenavamo in un buon ristorante greco, il Daphne. Grazie alla gentilezza del nostro connazionale Giuseppe siamo potuti tornare a “casa” con la sua macchina e con le nostre bici caricate nel suo carrelletto al seguito. Ancora grazie, per averci permesso di concludere la serata in bellezza. Cmq il consiglio è di fermarvi direttamente a Holzkirchen, senza indugio sebbene non sia di alcun interesse naturalistico o storico, è solo dotato di una comoda stazione del treno o cmq della pista ciclabile per tornare a Monaco in bici.

  Day 4: 50 km of which the first 12 km. in light ascent starting from Bad Tolz, but feasible, effortlessly. Cycling paths in everywhere, paved along the roads and not paved in the woods, all easily passable with bike and luggage followed, relaxed views, farms and countryside immaculate. Point of interest and attention of this day, in addition to the aforementioned landscape, is Tegernsee, places on the lake that boasts a clean beautiful Benedictine Abbey, transformed into a castle by the royal house of Bavaria. Now it is enjoying a good beer in Bräustüberl, the brewery cellar annexed to the castle. Retracing our steps to the beginning of the lake and heading eastwards, after about 20 km. we arrived at our final destination, the Gasthof Newirt in the tiny village of Grobhartpenning, but there we could not have dinner because of lack of staff; therefore, in the evening, we had to go back by bikes towards Holzkirchen (5 km.) where a downpour caught us while we were having dinner in a good Greek restaurant, Daphne. Thanks to the kindness of our compatriot Giuseppe we could come back "home" in his car and loaded our bikes in his carrelletto in tow. Thanks again, for allowing us to finish the evening with a flourish. Anyway the advice is to stop directly in Holzkirchen, although there is not any historical or natural interest, it is only equipped with a convenient train station or in alternative the cycle path to return to Monaco cycling.
