Eurovelo 10: Baltic Route (Hansa circuit). 7,930 km

Baltic Circular Route. The Baltic Sea coast with its white sands, picturesque villages and ice-blue water is an attractive destination and the Baltic Sea Cycle Route will give you the perfect opportunity to get to know this corner of Europe better.

Countries it crosses:

Poland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Most of the kilometers of the Eurovelos pass through narrow asphalt tracks very similar to conventional cycle lanes. In addition, all sections have to meet a series of specific conditions:

-Do not have slopes greater than 6%

-Have sufficient width to allow the passage of at least two bicycles.

-Have an average of no more than 1,000 motorized vehicles a day.

-Be paved at least 80% of its length

-Stay open all year.

Apart from establishing the first European network of cycle routes, one of the best possibilities that in my opinion Eurovelos provide is the ability to connect with each other to create new routes or even use specific sections to complete our trips with the guarantee that They are fully cyclable paths, signposted and adapted to bicycles.
