At this stage we leave Sapa to climb the pass of O Quy Ho, the highest in Vietnam, very close to its highest mountain, which we cannot see due to bad weather.
The climb is easy, by road quite well paved and good views, and more importantly, with no heat. Along the way there are many food stops and several stalls. The cars of tourists that go to the same place are passing. In the pass we expected quite a hotel infrastructure and everything is under construction, so little can we do there apart from looking through the clouds.
We start the super descent to Lao Cai, from where we will take a bus to Ninh Binh. The road is giving good views, many mountain rice terraces, but as we approach Lao Cai there is more and more traffic, so we are glad to have made this stage of descent, ascent can be an important stick, since that the Vietnamese are not very careful in their driving.
The positive and negative unevenness seem to be much greater than the accumulated total, the D + we believe that it was going to 600m at most.
