This stage is a progressive ascent to Meo Vac, with its corresponding ups and downs.
The landscape begins to fill with rice terraces characteristic of Vietnamese mountain crops. The slopes that are used to grow rice have slopes that are not negligible and in the upper part there are almost always the cornfields, which, in addition to other uses, are used to make a liquor that in the tourist areas they call Happy water and that the Vietnamese They drink in shots during lunch and dinner.
As we have decided to shorten the stages so as not to suffer from excessive heat in the morning we have already reached Meo Vac, which allows us to eat there and visit its covered municipal market.
We believe that there is an inaccuracy in the accumulated slope of the GPS and that the positive slope will surely be closer to 1,100m than those indicated by the GPS.
