Day of adaptation to the route.
After leaving Hanoi in a minibus that spent 10 hours to get through the back door to Ba Be, we rested at night in one of his numerous HomeStay.
The route is on asphalt along the lake and then ascending to a small neck where we found a hotel and decided to spend the night. The hotel is called Ba Be ecolodge, it is one of the few we saw once we left the banks of the lake. The Eco thing we didn't see anywhere, but they have good views of the surrounding mountains and make dinner.
Between Ba Be lake and the ecolodge there are a couple of little tendrils on a small neck that we pass through. The level from which we left does not differ much from the level at which we arrived but the rise and fall of the road makes it not flat at any time.
The heat and embarrassment of the day has made it clear what the rest of the trip will be.
