Itinerary description
Day 09 Ambois to Château de Chenonceau 16.5 km
First a visit to the Chateau d'Ambois, then a stop at Chateau du Clos Luce the last residence of Leonardo da Vinci. From Ambois just 20 km down to our campground in Chenonceaux. After arriving at the campground, Camping de l'écluse (N47.32905° E1.08799°), we took a boat tour up under Château de Chenonceau. What a great way to see a chateau that is built across a river!
