Itinerary description

Day 01 Saint-Brevin-les-Pins to Nantes 70.9 km
Bus 17 from Saint-Nazaire to Saint-Brevin-les-Pins across the “Le pont de Saint-Nazaire” bridge. Do not try to ride across this bridge! We started the ride in a light rain with a nice tail wind pushing us up the riverside path. The weather improved throughout the day and was warm and dry by the time we arrived in Nantes. We stayed with Roig Maxime “Max” and Florianne “Flo”; wonderful Warm Showers hosts.
Max and Flo were excellent hosts! They gave us great directions to find their place and met us on the street as we arrived. They offered us snacks and drinks, got us settled in a private room in their apartment, and pointed us towards an excellent pizza place nearby for dinner. This was our first night of a 16 day tour up the Loire river valley from Saint-Brevin-les-Pins to Nevers and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the trip!
