Itinerary description
We Cycling in Cyprus for 6 days, combiing small roads, unpaved roads and some MTB tracks. We spend 3 days up in the mountains (Mount Olympos, its highest peack has 1950m high, almost 6.000 feet). Small villages and beautiful monasteries (we visited Chrysorrogiatissa and Kikkos ones) within this forest mountains, full of flowers in this time of the year. ccomodation is easy to find but more expensive than expected, this is a turistic destination.
From Trodos square we started a long and great descend into the northern part of the island, and we finally get into the turkish part crossing the border at astromeritis. This part is fairly more poor and retains some Turkish atmosphere. On the way back to Paphos, we follow northern Coast on the way to Akamas Peninsula, a must in our trip. Great morning swim at Fontana Amorosa bay.
We arrived back in Paphos following a coastal path, packed with villas, apartments and huge hotels. This is the worst part of the whole island. finally we reach again the tranquility of our hotel. We packed bicylces and, early next morning, we take our flight back home.

Hola Marina Baixa,
Sld.
