Itinerary description
Went from Brisbane to North Stradbroke island via the Cleveland Ferry, for only $10 (return ticket included!). Camped one night by Flinders Beach where it is allowed to camp and came back the next day.
I was told at Main Beach by the Coast Guard that I could camp near the beach starting less than one kilometer from Point Lookout, so I pushed my bike through the sand... but once there I was told it is not allowed by another person. This person had a map and showed me I could go to Flinders Beach and camp there. I went back to Flinders, and there someone else told me it is also forbidden to camp... But no, it is allowed there.
