From Manali, the longest port of the route is climbed: 52 km, the Rothang Pass, at first on a good road and used by local tourists who come to step on the snow; suddenly becomes a broken track with some potholes that only a bike with good suspension can overcome. Afterwards, a giant descent down a very bad track. The profile is an ad photo for a Manali travel agency. He had no other information. Now I know that there is a book (in English) with the Manali-Leh route detailing profiles and slopes of each stage.
