Itinerary description
Katy trail - the longest “Rail 2 Trail” route in the USA. Note: we took the train from Jefferson City to Hermann, thus the speed show is not correct. Better West-East due to the prevailing winds. Great facilities!

I did this trail in early October last year. We used an outfitter to reserve lodging and move baggage. Six days of riding. Five nights lodging. If possible, as mentioned above, it's best to ride this from West to East. Riding along the Missouri River along the Boonville to Jefferson City segment was my favorite.
