Itinerary description
BWT is well described and signs lead you; but it has its tricky corners. Trail conditions vary between paved roads and single trails through Brandenburg’s sandy grounds, changes sometimes very suddenly. I always cross referenced the map from the official website https://www.berlin.de/mauer/mauerweg/ with google maps. Whereas the Berlin-Brandenburg border is very quiet and consist mostly of long stretches of former boarder control roads, the Berlin inner city’s trail needs more navigation. Follow the detours: Always something new to be found around the bend.
