A good way to get to know Aspen from Basalt. Impressive views of the Rio Grande, the road is in perfect condition and the moderate elevation makes the journey very enjoyable. by doing so you will realize that most people in Aspen and Basalt are very active and careful of their surroundings. Do not forget to visit the community center of Woody Creen next to the Tavern. It's shot is my favorite when I'm in Colorado.
