Itinerary description
Nice touristic route.
You get to see the heights of Montjuic, the beaches, and the tower above Barcelona in the Carretera de les Aigues.
Ok, better not to try this route if you don´t have either
(a) a 44 tooth chainset
(b) electrical help
(c) tons of patience to push up
It was done on a 50 tooth chainset but with the smallest amount of electrical assistance (on bespoke electrification).
There is a 300 metre uphill section just before catching the Carretera de les Aigues which is via a small step path where you will sweat. It´s short but a little painful.
