Primer dia sol després de que en Manel es veiés forçat a tornar per tractar-se l'infecció a la mà deguda a l'accident al trekking del Rinjani. Etapa curta per tenir temps de visitar els temples de Besakih però Murphy està sempre amatent i apunt per fotre la guitza. No duc ni tres quilòmetres que peto la cadena i al intentar reparar-la me n'adono de que no duc cap baula de recanvi. Surto a la carretera, paro un camió i baixo a Amlapura a buscar una baula. La tenda que m'han indicat està tancada. Al final trobo un mecànic i una baula. Quatre hores després de petar la cadena torno a arrencar i arribaré a Basakih sense més contratemps. Pel camí arrossars preciosos i una pujada sostinguda que tot i picar no té rampes inhumanes. Arribo que és massa tard per visitar els temples, queda menys d'una hora de llum, queden per l’endemà.

First day on my own after Manel's departure to get treatment for his infectioon after Rinjani trek accident. A short stage for having time to visit Besakih temples, but Murphy is ready to screw you. Only three kilometers after my departure I broke the chain and I realize I don't have any spare link. I have to leave the bicycle, go to the road, stop a truck and get a rise to Amlapura. The bicycle shop they pointed me to is closed and I have to look for another one. Finally I find one and some spare links. Four hours after breaking the chain I started cycling again. I got Besakih with no more surprises. Climbing to Besakih is steep but doable and I enjoy the views of some amazing rice fields. I reach there to late to visit the temples. I'll do the early morning the following day.
