Itinerary description
Cycling trip from the Chilean / Argentinean border at Icalma Pas (near Lago Aluminé) north along the Andes, partly on asphalt, partly on ripio (gravel) all the way up to Paso de Sico in the north of Argentina.
Some ripio stretches might be hard due to lose sand and / or washboard. The northern end is pretty hard, as you cycle up the Puna (Argentinean altiplano) upto an elevation of 4.432 meter.
