Itinerary description
La prima tappa del percorso Adriabike parte dalla stazione di Tarvisio città puntando verso il confine sloveno: si dirige verso i laghi di Fusine, due gocce di smeraldo incastonate in una delle zone più fredde d’Italia. Siamo sul sedime della ex ferrovia Ljubljana-Tarvisio, bell’esempio di riconversione di una ferrovia dismessa in pista ciclopedonale.
The first leg of the Adriabike route starts from the Tarvisio city station pointing towards the Slovenian border: it heads towards the Fusine lakes, two drops of emerald set in one of the coldest areas of Italy. We're on the site of the former Ljubljana-Tarvisio railway, a fine example of the conversion of a disused railway into a cycle/pedestrian path.
