Today we leave the Spiti valley to enter the Kinnaur.
From Nako downhill steep to almost all bends we return to flank the Spiti where the difficult part begins, the dirt road winds between work in progress and very narrow stretches overlooking the river so that when we cross other means we must stop in part, then the Spiti is introduced in the Sutlej we find again the asphalt but also the contrary wind begins that makes us to toil a little more and also the dirt road returns where we find a first landslide we wait for half an hour an excavator that is working to remove the last stones , we leave again and after about twenty km we notice a long queue of vehicles, another landslide blocks the road, even here an excavator is working to remove the rubble but must frequently interrupt the works due to the continuous sagging of the wall, we remain still 3 hours watching some locals trying to cross the landslide area, the sun begins to set and we decide to challenge fate by approaching us with itch nza to the landslide and then with a quick but never-ending shot we run across pushing the bike between boulders and debris 😥😅 is done a little further on in the chaotic village of Spillo we find a guesthouse to spend the night.
