Itinerary description
On this ride as you leave town there is a sign. All bicycles this way. It directs all riders of the highway and onto the old highway. a road in perfect condition. Even to the point that it is a Hllclib track All of the barriers are in place to make sure I didn't run off the road at that incredible pace I was cutting. OK maybe those guys in there supercharged V8's may have beat me by a few seconds. The track is a Km longer but the gradients are much better, on 11% as Mr Google says are on the new Highway, and it was all in the shade. If you look at the Charts Mr Garmin tell me the Temp was well over 40 deg C. today. I had a lot of stops. Then you get to Gympie and it is a little Hilly Bastarg of a place.
