Itinerary description
Well "best laid Plans etc" Had breakfast in a nice spot and started talking to a couple of road cyclists who convinced me that my best option was to follow the Richmond river valley down stream. They also said that my proposed route to Lismore was OK only 1 or 2 hills but from there on the hills are continuous. Go down the valley to Ballina they said. They didn't mention that a 30 kmh wind blows up the valley all day every day. So tomorrow I'll be weaving my way up the coast through Byron Bay to "As Far As I Get."
