From LHE we descend into the beautiful valley of the INDO along the two-lane big road made two days ago back from the PANGONG TSO and which passes in a very suggestive arid area crossing the green oases of Shey, Thiksey, Stakna, rich in religious history with palaces, monasteries and gompas perched on curly hills, then arrives in Karu where we find the junction for the PANGONG TSO we continue to MANALI passing by a large military base and skirting the river we arrive at UPSHI where we find a police passport control post and the crossroads for TSO MORIRI we turn for MANALI and we stop in the first Hotel.
