Itinerary description
Get ready for an epic day! What we are going to attempt is something that only few people have done before. We’ll climb the northeast face of the most active volcano in Chile, Llaima 3.125 mts; after reaching its crater, we’ll traverse towards the south and then ski down the southeast face of the mountain!
If the weather permits and assisted by snow-cats, we’ll reach as close as possible to the top, and then start a challenging hike to the crater (3-4 hours). In the afternoon we’ll begin the off-piste descent to the other side of the Conguillío NP, where the van is waiting for us. Then we’ll head toward Pucon (two-hour drive) where we’ll stay overnight and have dinner at a very nice hotel.
