DAY 4 Triglavski dom na Kredarici - Krma Valley
We get up and the sky is well tephed and it's raining. Our intention today was to climb the Triglav and get off at the Krma Valley.
In the first hour, we try Triglav, overtaking the first earrings and flanking on the south face we go up just before going to the edge that goes up to Mali Triglav. The time and the slowness with which I got on this stretch make the sanity impose itself and go back to the refuge. We collect things and start pulling down. The visibility is very bad, and with the indispensable help of the GPS we are losing height very slowly. Luckily from the height of 1900m the visibility improves and we can start enjoying a bit of descent. We opt for the descent that goes further to the north, we are going through canals, shovels and more flat areas until we reach a refuge. The snow is pretty bad, crunchy and heavy. At this point we are already in the Krma Valley, on our right there are the impressive walls of Draski vrh. When we are inside the Krma Valley, we opt for flanking on the right side, cutting strong slopes and slipping us into the middle of the forest, this section the descent is fast and we continue to slope until we reach the bottom of the valley at the height 970m. At this point the valley is very flat and we progress with the free heel, first through the forest and then the track that will take us to the refuge Kovinarska Koca (870m) where we have parked the van.
