Itinerary description
From the ski resort via the Daunjoch to the Amberger Huette. Due to the poor visibility we missed the Hintere Daunkopf and the north slope descent as originally planned.
For safety reasons we secured the descent from the Daunjoch onto the glacier with rope, but this is probably not required. The track takes a non-standard itenerary over the east side of the glacier along the moraine. The traditional route follows the west edge of the glacier which required you to cross the flat glacier on the top. That's probably the safest route.
