Stotzigen Firsten - da Realp - SA - URI

tra le più classiche gite da Realp.
Si segue la strada di fianco alla ferrovia per la valle che porta alla Rotondohütte, superato il ponte si comincia a salire, passati alcuni tornanti abbandonare la strada e risalire il pendio di destra - direzione di marcia - si passano alcune baite, poi si guadagna il pendio più ampio e sostenuto che forma una larga gobba ben visibile fin da Realp.
Alla fine su terreno meno inclinato si passa da una piana Simmigstafel, 2367 m. Rifugietto privato e laghettino nascosto dall'innevamento nella stagione invernale. Si prosegue lungamente rimontando vallette e dossi in direzione Ovest, fino all'anticima adesso ben visibile, da qui alla vetta, 2753 m. Il punto più elevato della cresta, 2759 m. si trova più a lato.
Lungo percorso ma bello su spazi aperti. Fattibile e sicuro anche dopo una recente nevicata.

Discesa molto bella e varia, data l'esposizione e la zona è facile trovare buona neve.
