Itinerary description
Lovely skin up the Sorteny valley. The first col was too rocky (but could be skied with more snow). The second col worked although we had to step down through rocks. The ski down into Rialb is excellent - this is the slope that avalanched a few years back (snow dropping onto it from the rock slopes above). So the trees are small and spaced, making for excellent visibility, and a sustained enjoyable ski down to the valley floor.
