Itinerary description
Delightful short tour up the Sorteny valley road, up the route of the summer footpath to just above the the Planell del Quer col. Then turn right (NW) to follow the ridge line. Great views in good weather and trees for visibility in poor weather. Continue up to the top of the big snow field, where the trees close in, then ski SW down into the Rialb valley. You can make your way going straight down but the best snowfields are found by trending to skiers left as you go. Then ski out down the Rialb valley.
Highly recommended if you want a short tour or want to tour staying among trees in poor visibility.
