Rotondohütte - da Realp - 1 - SA - URI

Si segue la strada che dall'ultimo parcheggio (a pagamento) di Realp, passando prima di fianco alla ferrovia, risale e si addentra nella bella valle del Witnwasseren. Si passa dal ponte in ferro effettuando un tornante e si seguono alcune curve. Si passa poi da diversi alpeggi, insediamenti, Schweig, Ebnen, si aggira un rilievo, superato Ober Chäseren la valle si apre e si addolcisce.
Proseguire fino in fondo alla lunga valle.
Qui nei pressi della piana e prima di raggiungere l'Oberstafel, 2211 m. di fronte il passo di Cavanna di fianco sul lato sinistro si erge elegante il Pizzo Lucendro, svoltare decisamente a destra, direzione Ovest, per valloncello e ultimo traverso si sale e si arriva alla Capanna, 2570 m. collocata su un rilievo roccioso.
