Itinerary description
Park near the church. There is limited parking spot. Follow the street until you reach an ARTVA check, from now on you have to follow what in the summer is a car road. Due to that, it's really easy and you cannot lost yourself. When the route ends, there's a "summer parking". From here keep left and start to follow a much more steep route that will bring you headed to the base of Cima Papa Giovanni II. Halfway through, there's also a Bivacco where you can rest before continuing your journey. If you want to reach the summit, you may have to remove skis in the last few meters in favor of crampons.
This GPS tracks however does not reach the summit, but instead turned back 200mt D+ from the summit due to both phisical condition and windy weather.
The return is almost always following the up route, with few difficult key passages, but overall easy
