Itinerary description
Great loop, particularly worth doing when all the decent powder is on the north (French) side of the Ransol/France border. We were on foot, using crampons, for the last 30 metres of the climb back up to the Circ de Meners col.

Hi! Could you tell me if your first descent through Port Vieux de Coume d'Ose can be done in opposite direction with skis? Or will I have to use crampons? Is it very steep?

There is a part that is 40 degrees lower down, and the final climb to the col is 35 degrees. You will have to do both on foot with crampons, possibly with an axe.
