Štrbské Pleso - Chata pod Soliskom.
We leave from the Strbské ski slopes.
At the end of the track next to the cafeteria we put crampons although you can climb to the top with skis if the snow conditions are good.
Once at the top we descend a few meters to our right to reach a hill and a large steep slope that will leave us under the Patria peak.
We found a finger of recent snow on a hard base.
Be careful because the blade is about forty degrees up and does not allow errors.
The intention was to ascend to Patria Peak via the pole in front of the shovel that we had descended, but the snow conditions made it inadvisable.
We opted to go around the peak going up through the forest to look for the normal climb.
Enjoyable and friendly descent, the final stretch of the forest fun.
