Itinerary description
Percenal - Arinsal
Lovely walk through the forest then up the ridge to pic de percanela.
There wasn't enough snow to descend down the canals to Arans, so I descended to the saddle in between the two peaks and then down the other side towards Arinsal where you find a canal of approx 45 - 50 degrees (i'm guessing, seemed reasonably steep). The snow on this side tends to be heavy because it's south facing and gets the full sun.
An alternative is to climb the next peak, walk the ridge line towards Pic de les Fonts and then descend to either Arinsal or into Angonella then down to Llorts (having said that the skiing the path to Llorts isn't the most fun you can have).
