Itinerary description
2018-03-26 Vernagt hut to Vent, via the Wildspitze (2nd highest peak in Austria). The summit can be approached from the left or the right, both done on foot.
Maybe this should be graded moderate, hard to tell. We did it in mist, on GPS navigation, which made it feel harder. And the descent to Vent involves a short section of via ferrata below the col, which for us was buried in snow, so we had to downclimb the snow canal. Maybe it can be skied..... but not by us. We ran a rope handrail for safety.
You end up on the pistes into Vent.
