Itinerary description
Partly off-sticks/kvisting route from Raggsteindalen to Storestoelen Hotel and car parking area.
This avoids a long track around the lake and is shorter and less steep downwards than the other routes marked on the map.
The area of the lake Strandavatnet where the track/valley meets the lake can be insecure because of water flowing down the river. It can therefore be advisable at some times to travel east a few hundred metres along the lake bank, then cross directly to the hotel/car park, instead of going across at an angle.
