Itinerary description
Nice tour around two of the main summits of the Stryn Vinterski resort.
It starts with a smooth up between the cabins of Bøanedsætra following the ski track until the top of the first ski lift.
The most direct way to Natakupa from here is to skin up parallel to the second ski lift, but I was interested in climbing along the ridge, so I went west following on a smooth ascent until Bubergskaret pass (907 m). From there, turn left and follow the obvious wide ridge. It has some short steep sections that might require ski crampons if icy. The ridge climbs a couple of bumps before starting the last section to the top, that also becomes quite steep.
Way down directly to Steindalen and near to the end of the second ski lift, put skins again to climb Hestefjellet in easy terrain with great views.
Way down to Steinsdalen on open, easy terrain.
