Itinerary description
Last Saturday we went to Melchsee-Frutt. The weather wasn’t nice, but enough to do some skitouren.
We took the cable car from Stöckalp to Melchesee-frutt. There, we decided to go to Rotsandnollen. For our opinion, it is a bit far. There is a so many kilometers that you have to do in a flat surface, so also means that you couldn’t enjoy the descend.
To arrive at the summit, is not a difficult, you only have to follow always the same direction, North-Est.
Hopefully when you are back again to Melchsee-Frutt you have the slopes from the ski resort and you can enjoy the last 900m.
I think that, during the winter, when the snow conditions are better, you can do the descent directly to Stöckalp and this way, for sure, it will be a better.
I will only recommend this route if you can do the descend directly to Stöckalp.
