Itinerary description
Mellow backcountry route to start with or just to have a relax day outside enjoying a incredible panoramic were you can appreciate of Rusutsu, Shiribetsu-dake, Mt. Yotei and Niseko Annupuri (Niseko United).
The beginning of the track is a parking sport from where you have to walk beside the cars 400mts until the waypoint were you can start touring.
Extremely recommend to be your first backcountry tour to start knowing the equipment and felling confortable with the activity.
It´s good to do some laps after the mellow part of the beginning but we didn´t found it snowboard friendly because the flat.

We've skied Kokimobetsu-dake a few times, and we'd agree - it's a fantastic beginner-friendly route. A great way to get a feel for Hokkaido backcountry pow, away from the resorts.
