Want to climb up half dome?
Yes!!!
I made this trail with out any permits!!
If you go soon enough to pass the ranger from the base of the mid-dome you will have no problem at all!
There is a lot of people going up the trail!
I made this trail with this timing:
7:45 am start PARKING LOT
8:00 1st Falls
8:15 TOP OF 1st falls
9:00 TOP OF NEVADA FALLS
10:30 HALF DOME CABLES
11:00 HALF DOME SUMMIT
12:30 NEVADA FALLS TOP
13:00 1st Falls
13:30 PARKING LOT
THIS IS A REALLY EASY TRAIL!
1. You can make this running!!
2. TAKE PLENTY OF WATER! I recommend 1 GALLON/ person
3. Take some food it’s necesaary !!
YOU NEED GLOVES! They are very important, but from what I know you can find them at the base of the cables there are plenty gloves for you to use!
BE STRONG and don’t fear the altitudes because the cables are really steep!
There are 2000 meters of gaining altitude, you need to be in a good shape!!
AI recommend starting the TRAIL AT 5:00 to 7:00 am MAX
BECAUSE THE WORST ENEMY CAN BE THE SUN AND THE HEAT!!
Inmade this climb with 115 F !!

You cannot get lost there is always a trail!
Don’t be worried and make the summit!!
The worst thing that can happen is that the ranger can tell to you that if you don’t have the permits you cannot climb!
But indeed the WALK IS AMAZING TO THE TOP! Go for ti!!
