Itinerary description
LA GRAN TRAVESIA DE LOS ALPES, DE VIENA A NIZA.
The world´s longest ski tour, cross the main chain and the mightiest peaks of the European Alps, from Reichenau an der Rax - Knappenhof, Austria, to Nice, France, on ski and on foot within only 40 days, without a single day off. Alpine expedition with 1,917km in distance and more than 85,000m of cumulative elevation gain.
This route is not the most direct but the most challenging route, including some of the highest mountains of the Alps, such as Großglockner (3,798m), Piz Palü (3,900m), Dufourspitze (4,634m), and Mont Blanc (4,808m).
Also visit some of the most famous winter sports resorts of the Alps like Bad Gastein, Livignio, St Moritz, Courmayeur or Tignes.
