Itinerary description
Very nice tour, but last 500 m on a thin layer of snow on an icy surface, so in a couple of weeks, will be icy. We were a little late skiing down around 9 o'clock in the evening, so for the middle section of the downhill part, we broke through a thin frosty layer on top of soft snow, that made it a bit difficult skiing (Icelandic: "brotaskari").
Regretfully my phone went into sleep once in a while thus the recording was not continuous as you can see on the profile of the path, which is not very smooth and looks as if I was going up and down all of the time, instead of a smooth up and down.
My Garmin watch recorded a total length of 17,97 km and a 1616 m elevation.
